Alex Portillo is a pastor serving in Vancouver, Washington, originally from Washington DC. He graduated from Burman University with an undergraduate degree in Religious Studies, with a minor in Biblical Languages and earned a Master of Divinity from Andrews University. Currently, he is pursuing a doctoral degree in leadership and spiritual formation at George Fox University. He is the author of a forthcoming book with Zondervan.

His interests include reading widely, biblical exegesis, contemplative spirituality, and digital content creation. As a husband and father, he lives in Vancouver, WA, with his wife Chelsea, their sons Ismael and Mateo, and their dog Nimbus.
