Robert Alexander Portillo

I am a pastor and writer. 

I graduated from Burman University with a degree in Religious Studies and a minor in Biblical Languages, and earned a Master of Divinity from Andrews University. I’m currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry in Leadership and Spiritual Formation at Portland Seminary.

I’m also the author of a forthcoming book with Zondervan, releasing in spring 2027. I’m excited to share it with you! 

I live in Vancouver with my wife, Chelsea, our sons, Ismael and Mateo, and our dog, Nimbus, where I pastor a small church and write about Scripture and our inner worlds.
